O Creator !

A thousand rainbows You tucked around me

Chameleon clouds…now a man now a mammoth

Undulating hills with Indigo shadows

Vibrant men tilling the auburn earth into verdant fields

In strange harmony with nature and each other

White cranes riding on black buffaloes

Sunflowers gaily dancing on the light beams

Wind whispering a hundred unheard melodies

The lilt of water and the chirp of the sparrow

A panorama of pervading peace.

You crammed so much beauty into each cranny of the world

Yet I walk oblivious of all, with my face forever buried in my breast

Oh, if only I could look up and see the Heaven you gave me

Perhaps I would stop obsessing about the potholes on the journey

…And know your invisible tread and infinite love.
